According to a new survey, more Americans than ever are attempting to modify their bodies through breast and buttock implants, liposuction, and “thigh lifts.”
According to freshly released data from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, almost 18 million cosmetic operations were performed in the United States in 2018, about a quarter-million higher than in 2017. (ASPS).
According to the organization, that number has gradually increased over the last five years. The latest figures indicate an increase in noninvasive fat removal operations and body-shaping procedures such as breast augmentation and liposuction.
“Liposuction remains the gold standard for body contouring due to its adaptability, efficiency, and efficacy,” ASPS President Dr. Alan Matarasso stated in a society press release.

Other body-shaping treatments such as buttock augmentation and thigh lifts saw a surge in popularity along with breast augmentation and liposuction.
